Evolution of food
In pre-historic times our ancestors had a life which revolved totally around food and feeding the family and the clan. Food had to be hunted, cleaned and stored for using it later during harsh weather. This left no time for cooking it or there is a possibility that they lacked the knowledge of how to cook food.Thus human bodies and minds were nurtured well with unadulterated, chemical free foods. This led to a gradual healthy, organic growth of bodies and minds. Human beings started evolving and getting more and more intelligent. We started making machineries and chemicals using our pure, intelligent brains which by then, became greedy and demanding. Thus started the roller coaster – to keep the machines functioning we started manufacturing in excess and at a break neck speed. To increase the speed and shelf life we started using chemicals along with the gigantic machines. There was a new economy bubble around countries and nations and many ‘Developing countries became Developed countries’In the quest to evolve more and creatively with foods, we humans have gone to a great extent and achieved some of the most interestingly creative foods as a result. These foods maybe good as insta clicks, but we cannot be sure of how healthy and how edible they will be! There is hardly anything natural left in these foods, then how does it justify the concept of ‘Eat good food to be healthy and nourished’?!
