a.NiZen collagen drink contains a high concentration of pure collagen peptide. As such, it is natural that products containing a high concentration of natural ingredients such as collagen peptide have a variation in color due the so called “Maillard Reaction”. The Maillard Reaction is a natural phenomenon that happens for this reason: Because collagen peptide is high in amino acids, the mixing between amino-acids and reducing sugars produce a distinctive browned color to foods, similar to what happens in the crusts of most breads and other normal staples. This is totally a natural phenomenon that does not affect the quality nor the efficacy of NiZen Probiotic Collagen Drink.
